LETS GO!!!! VYLET PONY NEWGROUNS

we love to see it!!!

A very late hello Vylet. Just by listening to your first three songs alone, it really gives us a great idea on the type of music we can expect from you here.

Middling Music is what can be best described as either a YTPMV that would have existed somewhere in the 2010s, or a replication of a very ringtone to a phone that does not exist anymore. It has a bit of random elements to it, but regardless it has some positive energy and a catchy melody. It would've been awesome to see the song go on for much longer and reach its full potential, but that is the unfortunate curse when it comes to good music: It ends sooner than what we were hoping for. 9/10

Lesbian Ponies with Weapons is another positive sounding song with the same feeling most Hyperpop songs are associated with. The vocals have the same high pitch most Hyperpop songs have, which somewhat requires you use your brain a bit to understand the lyrics, but it is not entirely unintelligible (In my case I had to look up the YouTube video to understand what was being sung). The lyrics when understood though give a pretty ironic contrast to the energetic and upbeat instrumental, with the singer (singers?) expressing their disdain toward the outside world after being victims of oppression for far too long. Eventually they finally snap and decide to cause a riot against the world, with them taking full acknowledgement of what they’ve done with pride while claiming this new world as theirs. This is a pretty chaotic sum up with the lyrics, but it is really fitting for how intense the song’s energy is displayed. Overall, this is a true textbook definition of a Hyperpop song: Having an upbeat and happy instrumental, contrasting lyrics, and high pitch vocals. The song also sounds like something that I would have heard in the early 2010s, and seeing how this was your goal for this song, it is an automatic up for me (I believe this is a factor on why this song made me feel like crying after relistening to it multiple times). 10/10, which is a funny thing to give this song since you confirmed this was made in 10 hours.

Antonymph is another song that is obviously influenced from the late 2000s to the early 2010s era (I looked this up and was surprised how both Lesbian Ponies with Weapons and this were made to honor different eras of music. I am not complaining though because those were my favorite eras too). The instrumental captures this era perfectly, with it having the same positive tone, catchy melodies and same use of instruments/synths (I know nothing with what music is made with, bare with me) artists in this era also used. One thing that makes me enjoy the instrumental more is how some parts of the song have one of those things where a bunch of voice lines gets spliced and jumbled to fit with the music, this helped on giving the song its own unique identity while feeling like it would have belonged in the inspired era (To get a more precise detail on what I am talking about: The part at the beginning of the song before the lyrics come in). The vocals were absolutely beautiful and fitted with the song like a key to a lock, sounding similar and matching the energy to the inspirations for this song, whatever they may be. The lyrics, especially at the second quarter of the song, highlights how awesome life in the late 2000s-early 2010s were, with many references to old media being made, actions being mentioned that the people in this era may have done, and a heartwarming message near the end of the song (I can not relate to any of this since I was too young at the time, but this song feels like it has the power to make people experience something they were never a part of).
That is why this is another 10/10 from you.

Granted those last two songs are older, it still paints a pretty good picture on what your music will be about here. It is funny too, these songs were all inspired by old internet eras, with you even mentioning Newgrounds in Antonymph, but yet it took you this long to start actually posting here. Oh well, it is better late than never to have you join us. Hope you keep posting here every chance you get, and don’t forget about us, we’ll always be here.
